turned the head over filled the combustion chamber with gas and prob 20 mins later there was half as much left, also u hold a light over the intake valve and can see it in the intake port, cant c any through the exaust port though

Then either the cam lobes are not in the fully down position, or you have a bent valve. My money is the bent valve.

I have these items on my parts list now, and am about to order. I also need a valve lapping tool and paste any sugestions ?? Also wt are ur thoughts on the parts iv found so far? any better deals or btr parts for the money out there ??????

Not too sure about the head rebuild kit, cause I don't know who makes the componants.

You are also going to need a flywheel puller, stator cover gasket, and while you are at it, the stator cover crankshaft seal, to do the timing chain.

Once i got the head apart my rockers are warn pretty thin toward the end, cam is pretty good one dry start mark but thats it

what about this gasket kit ?? also the top end kit is the only one i can find im not to sure about it myself !!!

I've never used the K&S gasket kits. Always use cometic myself. Weston has had lots of luck with the tusk gasket kits.
