i noticed today that my chain is as tight as it can be, absolutly no slack. can anyone tell me how to loosen this thing, i dont have a service manuel, and do not want to losen up a buncha bolts that might have nothing to do with it, pictures of the right bolts would help but, whatever help i can get is worth it, thanks guys (and ladies if there are any) ;)

Dude, buy a manual. They pay for themselves($25 or less) the first time you use them. There are 2 long bolts that go through your bearing carrier. Loosen them. At the back of the bearing carrier there are 2 more smaller bolts that adjust the chain slack. Loosten them, adjust chain to have about 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inchs of slack. Tighten everything up. Oh ya, buy a manual!!

manuel never got shipped :( bought it used without one. And i didnt tighten it, i noticed it that way :-X wasnt gonna be long untill it snapped. But thanks flyin fir the info.

usually things loosen up before they tighten up. due to lack of maintenance. make sure you look over the bike good if the chain tightened itself.

if you havent gotten a manuel yet..and still need to loosen the chain..look around on the internet for a manuel you can read online..there are a few places u could just download a manuel
