again some regular powders will last. hell the super durable we use cures at 400* where a normal powder is around 350- 375... my heat shields are done in a regular powder... but as you can imagine there is a pretty dramatic difference from the header and the shields. it is all in the prep... that is what makes or breaks a quality coating job... alot of people have the perception that high temp powder is a joke, mainly cause they know a guy that hit it in his garage and tossed it in his household oven... it peels so that means it is all bad... well when it is prepped the right way, properly cured... it lasts and holds up VERY VERY well!
