well i've bout decided my trucks gonna get new leaf springs (+3 high arch springs) and i found out i can get 4.88 danna 30 gears and 4.88 toyota 7.5 inch rear end gears. and i'll be running 33's or 35's on it XD. it's gonna take time but it'll happen! i'll probably finish the LTZ and sell it to fund this project.

I dont know what front end you have in your truck but im pretty sure you cant run dana 30 front gears in a yota axle. I have a yota as well but it has a dana 44 front. Do you have a IFS front or are you swapping a solid axle in it? Id run 35's with the 4.88s, thats what I had before I stepped up to 37's. heres a pic of my yota:

mine is a 1978 wolverine... Factory 2wd DEALER optioned 4wd. left japan as a 2wd truck in august of 1977 and left the dealership as a special order 4wd. It can NEW with a 5 lug toyota rear end, Jeep dana 20 transfer case (sucks it's a 2:1 ratio case i'd like to drop the 3:1 ratio gears in it) and a Jeep cj5 Dana 30 front axle. now mind you the running gear is EXACTLY like it was when it left the dealership. Dana AND toyota both offered 4.10 gears and 4.88 gears and my truck has 4.10 gears now.

i got my head gasket done up today! i've not tried it to see if it fixed my over heating issue or not... i sure hope so! if not i'mma push the ****** off a cliff haha

Cool, if ya can run it enough to load the engine hard you should be able to tell if it's gonna heat up. Typically the guage will climb fast if it's getting combustion gasses in the coolant. On auto trannies I can usually hold the brake & hammer the throttle & find head gasket issues but I don't take you for the kinda chick that drives an auto so you can lug the engine in a higher gear in a pull. Hope the truck does good for ya "honey", lol!

ah running great! took it through suicide yesterday evening and the temp never moved off 160. now back to work on the ltz :)

WG09 IS PISSED!!!. someone tried to kill me. idk who the **** did it but someone loosened the lugs on the driver front on my truck. by the time i got home one lug was all the was left and it was half way off. no vibrations or anything so now i need a hub, wheel, and studs. god i'm ******* PISSED i better not find out who did it! i'll beat the living **** out of them!

Crazy how stuff like that happens sometimes, I had a wire to the fuel pump on my truck deliberately cut about a year ago. Not like I coulda snagged it & broke a wire, 6" was cut out & left lying on the ground under it, I know how ya feel, makes ya wanna shoot a bitch in the knee!

got her fixed JUST NOW! haha it's after midnight . it has jeep wheels all the way around now! i bought adapters for the rear... now i need to measure and see what size spacers i need for the front. IT'S GOT ALUMINUM WHEELS NOW! it's moving up in the world haha. one of these days i'll get some damn pics uploaded! :/
