250f shifter installed, skid plate on, plastics back on, headlights painted and re installed, seat cover done, painted three wheels, exhaust installed, ummmmm I think thats it. Oh and I finally got to fire it up! Woohooo!

Mine is a 94. Does not have the pull start. I got a 2006 250f shifter. Clears the cover great. I think im gonna wish the peg was a bit longer. Gonna have to wait till I ride it. So far it seems way better

Started with the color change today. Took about 3 hours to prep and a couple hours in paint and watching the paint dry. In a couple days when the paint has completely cured I'll finish it up with some blue accents.

Black seat cover is on it's way and so is the black/blue and white front shock covers.

Are you going to do the blue like the orange was before? I might steal that orange idea at some point.

Looks nice bud,, my fenders where dirty white so i painted them and looked great but i found by bumping it while still working on it that the paint realy dosent hold up well and i scuffed it all up first,, so now ill be stipping mine off back to the dirty white, hope yours handles bumps and scuffs better then mine..

I sanded really well then cleaned with grease and wax remover. Then prepped with adhesion promoter, then primed with plastic primer then 4 coats of plastic paint. The paint is made to flex so hopefully it will hold up.

I changed the rear disk, $25 off ebay. The one that was on the YFZ axle was bent.

Then I started another project. I've wanted a pair of handle bar muffs to keep the wind off my hands. I can't hold on well enough with thick gloves so these should help out a lot. The black cloth is really strong and waterproof its similar to stuff used on boat tops. I borrowed a sewing machine from my sister inlaw. This is the first sewing project I've done in a few years. I figured out how to sew a few years ago making an airplane cover.

First is the basic shape, safety pins and a few lines. I want them to fit over the large brake master and the tether switch.

Zippers I got for $1 each at a fabric store (yes men do shop in those places too).

The finished product, wind and waterproof. It only took 2 hours and 4 beers to complete.

that should help a lot now throw some heated grips on and your hands will stay toasty warm
