hey i would like to make my own track, but what type??i have 30 acres of heavy woods, ranging from steep hills, flat parts, creek bed crossings, trees.what type of track should i make and how wide should it be???i would like to make it wide enough i can go fast with out worring about salming in to a tree in 5th gear

what type of jump would you recomend for a recon?

A very small one. You'll bottom that thing out on a flat landing if you get more than 20 inches off the ground. If you want anything bigger you need to make it like a tabletop or double, so you have a sloped landing.

I say no jumps for a recon. Believe it or not but their was actually one at the track today, That damn thing would bottom out just ROLLING the jumps.

I used to rip up the track with my recon. It's not an MX machine, but I held my own against a couple kids on blasters and 300exs, and a bunch of dirtbikes with it. I did bottom out quite a bit, especially when I came up short on the doubles. My recon gave me a lot of respect for honda, because i'm still amazed how well that recon could take everything I would dish out, and never let me sit.

MX'ing on a recon gets a lot of looks. Everybody was watching me when i'd take it to Rausch Creek, probably just waiting for something to break and send me flying over the bars.

really????was that when it was tock or with all the mods on it??and whats the biggest jump you took it off?

That was with the mods on it. The tires were probably the only ones that really made a difference, the exhaust and filter didn't do much for me except make noise. Keep in mind that it was rider skill that was outrunning those guys, not raw power, which the recon doesn't have much of.

yeah,i was just wondering, hopefully the trails have dried out enough for me to go ride on them.do any of you have tracks?if so what type?
