I let my warrior sit up for about a year while working on other projects .I had it in pieces swapping parts between another warrior I bought now I have put its original parts back on it doesnt want to start unless i spray gas or carb cleaner in it where the airfilter connects to the carb .It then runs kinda rough but drivable . After I get it running it will start without spraying the gas but if I dont crank it for a few days it needs gas sprayed back in it .I am hoping its only needs a carb rebuild.Any other input ?

Carb needs removed and PROPERLY cleaned. Your pilot and accel. pump circuit(s) are most likely plugged.
Todays gasoline is junk, and doesn't last worth a hoot and deteriorates very quickly (thank you, Mr. Ethanol).
This does not mean just drop the bowl, spray with carb cleaner and reassemble.
Pilot jet and fuel bowl (that contain the accelerator pump circuit) have very tiny passages that must be TOTALLY opened. I used a very fine stainless wire to open mine. If there is ANY discolored fuel scum in the carb, remove all of it and soak it in one of those one gallon can carb cleaning vats for a day or two. Make sure all of the rubber pieces are off of it before soaking. Veryify EVERY orfice being opened, or else you will be doing the job again.

There are no short cuts to doing this job properly.

X2 yopur carb needs cleaned. If the future run clear gas or if it's not readilly avalible you can use this http://mystarbrite.com/startron/ the atv, boat, and saw shops all carry it over here. Another thing to do is when you are done riding turn you gas off but leave your quad on and let it run the gas out of the carb. Doing these things will prevent future carb cleaning due to the ethanol gas

Thanks for your help.I took the carb apart it was cleaner than I expected but I did find some scum and debris particles in the bottom bowl unfortunately I did this before reading your reply and didnt thoroughly clean it as you suggested so if it still acts up I will take it apart and let it soak.I did notice while removing the carb when i moved the throttle gas was being squirted but there probably is some blockage somewhere thats causing it not to squirt enough to start it.Once it stops raining I am going to see if it will start plus put some fresher gas in it.
