Man, this was teh rebuild that made me want to join this forum. Reminds me of mine when I first got it! (Two days ago xD) I'm hoping to get started on the full resto on mine soon.

Well boys, went to take it out to my FIL's so it was ready for the mud party and I couldnt keep it running off idle. Got out there and I couldnt start it period. Found the carb to be a little dirty, so I cleaned it. Still no go. Went thru all my grounds and many other electrical pieces that didnt require a ohm meter and still no go. She will pop start, but wont with the electric. I know what Im thinking and if Im right RMstator is gonna here from me.

I cleaned the carb when I did the motor, I think a lot of that came from the tank. Thats whats killing me right now. And that I had all the fuel drained out of it, since I didnt have any time to actually ride til I graduated. Im hoping to get out and test the stator tomorrow. Its getting spark, but far from hot enough to ignite the fuel. It can barely jump the spark over a 1/4" gap. Im also gonna take my stock CDI just in case.

Well pretty sure my flywheel key sheared. Decided to check timing since every other thing checked out. Set the flywheel on TDC and looked at the cam sprocket, guess what they didnt line up. Did the old check of the actual piston location and flywheel was off but cam was correct. Gonna use a local hardware store key for now, but possibly gonna be ordering a Vitos here soon.

Just got to thinking, I dont think it will really do much for me considering Ive already got the Dynatek. With those to together I think there may be a possibility it will advance me to far. Any input?
