Wow picked up the head and kind of had price shock!!! It was $190, valve job, resurface the head, and assemble it. Got the bulk of it the motor put back together. Need to adjust the valves, make sure the cam bolt is torqued, and repaint it. Still need to clean the frame and possible touch it up some. Oh and Pat my rivets on the head gasket cleared just fine. Its weird having the timing marks lining up perfectly!!! LOL Well enough of my babbling here a pic as the motor sits right now!

Ya i know it want much. He said the only reason he did was there was a gouge in it, i did see it to. The valve work was most of the cost though.

Lol. You don't wanna know what I have in the stroker. I don't even wanna know what I have in the stroker.

Didnt get much accomplished today on it. Woke up with a hell of a head cold and just kind of zombied it all day. I did get it unloaded from the car and sitting with the quad. Hopefully tomorrow I feel better and can finish up what little I have left to do so I can get it put in and fired up. Oh and thanks to Weston and his calculations it looks like my compression will be around 11.15:1 after the head shave. Should still be good for premium fuel .

We need him to crunch numbers for us, because he still has all his brain cells! I used to know the formula, but I burned the cells that housed that info a LONG time ago. Not wanting to re-learn it.

Ya and unless your building performance engines all the time it just kinda gets shuffledshuffled to the brain cells that are easy to kill! Lol For the most part on my engine i just have to adjust the valves, double check timing, and take care of the oil. Then i can put it back in and try the first fire with the 366 and yoshi!!! Hopefully all goes well!!!

EXACTLY!!!!!!!!!!! Not something you ever worry about being a real mechanic, and doing actual repair work. Performance builders and machinests, yes. Mechanics, no...

That Yoshi shouls sound good!

Got some time and felt a little better today. Got the valves adjusted, double checked timing, took care of the filter. Need to hit it with some fresh black on the top end.

Fresh coat of paint on the top end. Forgot my dremel at work so I can mod the exhaust valve cover for the cam, so Ill be modding it at work tomorrow and hopefully it will be going in when I get home. Ill get pics for sure and possibly a vid of the first fire up!!

Its going back together!!! Got the motor back in the frame, exhaust hooked up and all the wiring reconnected. In the pics that is what its shown also, theres more done but the work light I was using decided to blow the bulb. So no more work or pics tonight, sucks to because I had a hell of a groove going!!! Its mainly tank and body to go on, so hopefully Ill get it put back together tomorrow and be able to start the break in!

That maybe one of the next things after hearing about how much yours changed the bike. I wanna get it together and broke in though before I change anything else.

Baby steps!!! LOL With all the mods done this winter alone, I think this thing is gonna be an all new beast!!! Ya know done over to 366, the 252x1 cam, yoshi system, and the dynatek and I havent rode it with any of them yet!!! LOL
