If I remember right there was a guy in the grand rapids area back in highschool that had an old skyline.

Well when JDM cars get brought into canada, they give them a new vin number. I know you can bring canadian cars into the sates. So if it has a canadian vin, I can't see there being a problem?

The guy who has the gtr by me always hammers it when he goes by my shop just because he knows I'm in love with it. Jerk! LOL

it's not only the emissions. it isn't up to crash test safety standards by the Federal Government and DOT

There are a bunch of canadian cars down here. I don't think there would be an issue.

it is 4 wheel steering this is a diagram of it:

Well if there is such a thing, it's new to me?
And it must only be on the newer ones, or maybe an option? But their not all like that.

Sounds like a few of our customers that have built diesels. Every time they pass the shop they nail it. Black smoke and lots of noise, and wooosh! They're gone. Lol. It's funny how they talk about their trucks and filling people's cars with smoke when they pass them. Well, one day about a month ago, I was doing an alignment on a 1st gen duramax with a 6sp for our local GMC dealer. So, I'm about to pull out of the driveway for a test drive when I see one of our customers (has a duramax) coming from the stoplight with farm equiptment in tow. So I pull out and wind that diesel out in 1st, slam 2nd and in the side view mirror I see his truck get blasted with black smoke! Felt good. Whahaha!

They are junk!!! When I was wrenching for a living a customer had one that he was in love with for some stupid reason. Biggest pile o **** ever! I think they used some parts from them in Suzuki cars as well. I just sold a bunch of tuning stuff to a customer with a powerstroke, now he rolls coal every time he goes by

Ah yes, the powerjoke. Lol. I play a sport called polocrosse (equine sport, hardcore) we all set up pens in a field at tourneys (for our horses) and we camp out, and 1st thing in the morning you can hear like 7 of them starting up. A whole corus of ,"kunk, kakakunk, kakunk, kunk, kakakakakunk, kunk-kunk-kunk-kunk-kunk, kakakakakakunkkunkunk!" lol

Ha! I think the Cummins is louder though. Customer of mine has duel 7 inch stacks on his with a biiiggg ol turbo and that thing is so damn loud!

Yes the cummins is. It sounds like a cement mixer. But, I was talking about the powerjokes cold start. It has a rough ****** idle until it warms up some. Probably running on like 3 cylinders! lol.

Ohhh I c. Never heard one on a cold start. I never got into the diesel stuff much

Here is a 2001 7.3 f350 that we have at the shop. Customer insisted that it needed injectors. Well, he got what he wanted, and what do you know it didn't fix the problem. Don't get me wrong it does start easier, but it has a fuel delivery issue we have to look into.
