Im looking to upgrade my front and rear shox on my 87 warrior. Anyone know any good brands. I figure since there 26 years old I should replace them.:atv:

will banshee nerf bars fit a warrior? Im new to the forms and got my warrior a few months ago so i just need a few more parts to make it feels safer and ride better.

Anything will fit if you make it! Haha not sure if they bolt right up or not? As far as shocks for the rear you can use a banshee rear with slight mod to the air box. Or you could bolt on an 01 raptor 660 rear and find a way to mount the rezzy. And some people like the banshee fronts some say they are to close to stock. What ever to each his own I guess but there are some cheap ideas and it will ride a ton better or if you want I have a good set of factory shocks ill sell ya cheap if you want pm me. But you want better ride get netters shocks lol good luck.

You are not going to want to use the banshee fronts. They are too long for 1st gens. Our 1st gens have 14" shocks, eyelet to eyelet. The 2nd gens are nearly 3/4" longer, and the banshees are longer then those. So too long without modding the mounts. Don't even contact yamaha, it'd prob be a waste of your time once they give you the price. You'll prob die from shock, lol. Not too many mfgs out there for 1st gen shocks. Works is the only one I know of. I bought my works at steelers back in june for 425. That was with the 30ish dollar ride quality warrenty, for 30 days. You don't have to get it, but if you want them revalved or resprung if the factory settings aren't comfy for you, then it is worth it. I'm 6', 180lbs, and my shocks are set up for 160-190lbs mx, 210-260lbs recreation rider, and they feel great from factory to me. I do ride hard though. I have the shee rear and it works very well with the works fronts.
