And 75 horse out of a mojave? Yeah, right. I don't see any way in hell you're putting that much out of one of those little things, the crank couldn't handle the power, the clutch couldn't handle the power, the transmission couldn't handle the power, and really I don't see how you'd do it without doubling the displacement and running about the same compression ratio as a diesel. Those things are known for engine problems due to lack of lubrication even in stock form, and they only make about 15 stock on a good day. And could you imagine trying to kick start a 75 horsepower engine with a kick starter geared for a 9:1 compression 250? You'd break your ankle every time it kicked back. ****, even kick starting a stock tuned 350 can make you walk with a limp if it kicks back at you.

It would be a hell of a lot smarter to build a warrior to the maximum, it's a heavier engine, but that's because everything on it is overbuilt, so it can take all the forces that get put on it it.

You could also put it on the bottle... a little sneaky pete wet system wouldn't be too awful expensive but would give it a nice kick in the pants when you need it.

Check it out for your self. I didn't believe it either. http://www.cycleworksracing.net/mojave.htm My brother contacte dthe guy that works there and he said so himself he got 74horses outta one.

Still, regardless of how much power you can get out of something, it's gotta be reliable or it's useless. I can make a 5 horse briggs motor put out 30 horsepower but it's only going to do it for about 30 seconds before it blows. Any time you boost horsepower that much you're asking for trouble. Even doubling the power is putting 2 times the load on something that it was designed for, and that makes **** unreliable. Let's pretty much multiply it by 4 or 5 and see what happens. There's no way you're getting a long life out of any 250 built to that level, it just doesn't work that way.

CWR is a local company, about half an hour away, and still none of the local shops will touch their ****... maybe there's a reason? They test their stuff at Breezewood Proving Grounds, where I ride, and I never saw anything all that impressive roll out of their trailer. Maybe they just save the good **** for somewhere else, I dunno.

And when you put over 70 horsepower in a Mojave chassis, what do you do with it? Spin around in circles, flip it over, and kill yourself, pretty much. What good is 75 horses in a quad with arguably one of the worst chassis designs ever for a sport quad? They're weak frames, too short, too narrow, about 5 inches of suspension travel, and it'll take one big dude to start it. Sounds like a real waste of money to me. I'd rather put the money into a golf cart if i'm going to just make something stupid fast for no reason. The suspension is about the same and it would be a hell of a lot more fun because you could take your friends with you and scare the **** out of them too.

+1
It is not going to last long pushing that kind of hp. And honestly I would have to see it to believe it. I just don't think for the size of that engine there is any way you could do it with out some sort of other power adder like nos. etc..
For the money being spent on some of this stuff you have to look at the bigger picture. I mean for what you put into the engine and all the other upgrades you could have a 700 raptor which IMO is the ultimate woods/sports/race machine with reverse.

well i think ive decided to just keep the warrior unless some one offers like $2000 for it
