if ya want too, but you dont need too if ya put em in each other enough. i put electrical tape on mine so i wouldnt stop the loop's flow.

hauler you can take a pair of tin snips and cut out the shape from a can and use rtv to seal it for a block off plate

the problem I see is the small hose on this thing is hard like plastic so it will probably crack when bending it around to the bigger hose so maybe the $8 block off plate would be better.

does the block off plate take the place of the pump or where does it go?

yeah it takes the place of the pump but you need to pull the clutch cover to remove the pump and all of the snap rings and the plastic gears

it takes the pump completely out and that hose wont crack. if your afraid it will make both hoses cut bout 5" away from the case then attach them. i did this with mine and my buddy's bout a year ago and it still works to this day!

yea my method just makes it so ya dont have to tear it down and ya dont have to spend any money! free! :D

One thing to remember about these old air cooled 2 strokes. Never, and I mean never!! Use engine oil in your cases..

I might be a newby but even I know that lol
so what do ya put in the case?:haha:

I have like 4 quarts of Valvoline outboard 2 stroke oil I use for my chainsaw will it be fine for the blasty?
