Wow, never saw those wheels in 4 lug before, let alone a complete set of 4. What brand are they? They look to be 8" wide ARE Gamblers but ARE's had 5 windows.
Car oughta clean up nice!

If Im spelling this right they are Enkei's, I do need to find 1 spinner for it though. I got a set of stock 16" "Snowflake" wheels with it to but I dont think they will be going on it at all. Ya it should clean up pretty good, needs a little body work and the seats recovered, but it is 100% complete.

Got looking under the hood and I notice it has a K&N drop in and a MSD blaster coil. Someone had started to beef it up a little.

Got my first upgrade part for it. Hell of a deal I couldnt pass up. Lets see who knows what this is before I tell ya!!! LOL

Have no idear, but on a similue side note. I picked up a 1.9L Turbo Diesel engon I plan to slap into my jeep. Hells yeah!

Heres my problem with articles like that, they dont verify hp thats claimed. Theres no way he is making 400hp on stock cam, injectors, and ECU that doesnt have a chip. Those stock compenents alone limit it to about 300 rwhp, which is one hell of a big difference from 400.

400hp requires atleast a full port job, bigger injectors, atleast a chip for the ECU, aftermarket cam, and running 25-30 psi of boost.

Welp Im loving that I added the boost controller!! All I can say is WWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! LOL

15 lbs of boost makes the car feel like its gonna kick the rear end sideways when the turbo spools, especially in second gear!!! If it ever quits snowing here Im really gonna have fun!!

Got my other motor and got it to my motor rebiulding class. Really happy with how it looks inside. The only thing that is really worn is the cam and followers, that Im gonna be replacing with a roller unit. All measurements so far tell me it has very little wear, which Im surprised for a 180,000 motor. Also found out that it is actually the original motor for my car. When the guy did the 5 speed swap it wasnt biulding much or any boost. well after he pulled it he noticed the manifold to turbo gasket was shot. Thats all that was causing the issue.

Plans for this other than a roller cam are porting and polishing anything and everything I can think of including the head, exhaust manifold, and turbo manifold side. That should help that side breath better. The intake is going to get the upper gutted and lower ported and knifed.

working on getting a T3 turbo and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a Walbro fuel pump. All this should be a good start and the base for future power mods. Getting a stock 2.3 to breath is the biggest thing. After that is bolt ons.

Stock is right around 200 hp, as for weight of the car it varies depending on options. But anywhere from 3000 to 3500 lbs or so.

More updates for my toy!!! Put a K&N cone filter on and removed the stock restrictive filter box. Holy ****!!!! I thought I was having fun before, Now it pulls fully thru the RPM range and the turbo whistle is amazing. I almost need to up the gearing in the rear, since Im into 5th in no time at all. This car is gonna get me in trouble!!!! And Ive got more planned yet!!!LOL

Well my plans are changing a hair. Somethings have come up and moneys tightened up, so the plan is to take the stuff Ive been working so hard on and put it on the current motor in my TC. The rest of the other motor will get prepped for storage and I will pick up the stuff to put it together as time and $$ allow. Who knows I may just decide to go a little crazy with it since Im not in a huge hurry now to put it back together.

Well I havent updated this in awhile. When I blew the head gasket I opted to put on my home P&P head. Had to work out some bugs, them being that I had more boost leaks than I could count. One being the EGR, so that went bye-bye. LOL Got all the boost leaks fixed, but it still wasnt right. Tinkering here and there while working, low &behold the fuel pump went out. Well theres more uprading... LOL Put in a Walbro 255 high pressure pump. But it still didnt help the problems I was having, got to thinking, it acted like the timing retarded under full boost... ding, ding, ding. The knock sensor was messing up. Unplugged it, listened for pinging, none.... Game on. She's now back to normal and getting faster. Started some of the body work, which Im trying to get done before winter. While Im still tracking down & assembling pieces for my next mods. Im in the process of tracking down a Holset HY35 turbo off an early 2000's Cummins, 95lb/hr low impedence injectors, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and tuning(leaning towards Moates products right now). That should put it in the low 300rwhp range some wheres, which is fine till I get my other block ready. any more than that and I run the chance of throwing a stock rod. Just some aftermarket rods and Id have no worries til the 500 range. Took a cruise with some Stangs this summer to, had to show them a 2.3 turbo can hang pretty good... :)

Now for some pics of changes and any other things from the last few months:

Nice! I hate that style MAS makes getting cold air a pain!
Vane air meter (Vam for short) isnt really limiting my cold air. Just havent yet, since Im not 100% sure on some things yet.

Newest update, Havent dont much performance wise lately with school. But school is also helping with making sure it can handle what I can throw at it! Dry Compression test numbers were consistent across the board, 1st puff 110, 5th puff 160. Cylinder leakage was lower than alot of newer cars and just varied slightly across the board, all past the rings which is expected. Decided since I had time today I do a fuel pressure test to see if the fpr could keep up with the Walbro 255 I installed this summer! Guess not!! LOL Stock psi is 30 with vacuum, 39 without. Right now with vacuum its running at 40 psi. All good so far!!!
