i have a 2000 model gator 2wd for working. i've had a tandem axle 16foot trailer hooked to it with about 1500-2000 pounds of scrap and the lil ******* pulled it around the property

Well the wife and I went to town, and checked out the RZR 570, and the 800. Their exactly the same.. The 800 has longer travel shocks than the 570, but other than that..
So we took them both for a spin. The 570 felt more nimble, and a bit more snappy than the 800. Thought you could feel the extra torque of the 800.

To make a long story short. I would say that the 570 was actually faster! So I think thats might be what we're gonna get. With all the options we want, it'll total up around $12,500. ($200 a month)
We were looking at the plastic clip on roof, full clip in windshield. Front bumper, and a winch. They also throw in a set of aftermarket wheels, and procomp tires as part of the financing deal. :D

I can also get a long travel +5 suspension kit w/shocks for $2000. That would be a future venture though....

But then the payments go up another $80 a month.. I didn't think that it was worth it.
Don't really need the LT suspension anyway, it'll never get riden hard enuf to justify buy'n it.

Well the wife wants a new machine, so she can take the kids on trail rides... Plus she wants something with a warranty.
I just better get one hell of a ******** if we buy this thing!! (Cause I know whos gonna end up pay'n for it)

Speaking of payments, I make my LAST and FINAL payment for a 5 year loan of $8,000 today. WOOOOOOOTTTTTTTA!!!!! I've been checking out the MUV500, I think it is, at tractor supply. Aluminum wheels, mud tires, winch, cab, windsheild, dump bed, etc... $7,500. I swear it is a Rhino 450 knockoff. Has the Yamaha 2ed/4wd/4wd lock, buttons. They are a perfect match. Has a Warrior lookin top end, too. I just want something for the farm. Be nice to load up the dump bed with hay, then tow the trailer behind filled with hay. I can get all the horses fed in half the time. Be easier and faster to clean stalls, too. Can cut my number of trips in half.

When I was out in Hatfield during Labor Day weekend, there were LOTS of 4 seater SxS out there with parents up front, little kids in back, with the radio blastin. I'd almost rather get one of those instead of having to look over my shoulder at my kid to make sure they don't get into trouble. Or, so no one runs them over.

I wouldn't mind a 4 seater just to pack the kids around in, but the price of them backed me off.. I'm looking to get a passenger rack for the Scrambler, and then we'll just take 2 machines when we hit the trails. 2 kids, 2 parents, 2 machines...
It's better that way.. Just encase something breaks down.

I think it's better to drive your kids round than let them drive in a place like the mounds down here in Mi, super busy. I mean you don't want them to end up in a mangling deadlast style crash... And I think it's better to have two machines too.

See, the pit we had in Jersey was so big, it was a safe place to let the under 13 kids go off on their own bike. In really populated areas, and areas where you can't sit back on your bike and watch em, it can be a big hassle and concern. My uncle has his two oldest boys with his ex-wife. They will be 16 & 14 in a few months. Then, he has two with his now wife. They are 5 and 8? this year. He picked up a honda trx70 and trx125 in very good shape, cheap, for them to ride. He is at the point where he isn't super concerned about getting himself a bike anymore. He says he enjoys watching them, and making sure he is alert & ready for a problem. His wife rides so infrequently, that he just hopes on her 400ex.

I wouldn't be to worried about letting my kids ride at home. But the trails we hit are out in the middle of ********* no where!
The Rocky mountains make for some tough ride'n, are the trails up there are "not" kid friendly. One bad oopsy, and your cougar or bear ****.
