Anyone got pics of there plastics cut so I can have a idea on how to do it just post them in my built trailer thread

Previous owner has stripped the threads on the flywheel where you pull it off and it has been giving me troubles pulling it off.

Here's another thought on the flywheel. Mix up some jb weld put it on the threads then screw the puller on. Let it sit overnight then try it. But if it was me I'd weld it on.

I did weld it but I am having a hard time getting the washer to stay. I keep pulling it off with the three jaw puller. That's my fault cause I am a horrible welder.

I might just put it in gear and hold the brakes and crank the puller down on the flywheel.

I have the factory style puller and a three jaw style puller(gear puller). The yamaha puller will not thread on due to crossthreaded threads and the gear puller will not go around the magneto. So I tried welding a big flat washer to the magneto to use the gear puller on it. I just couldn't get a good weld on it cause I didnt wanna weld the magneto to the crank

Just thought of this. Try removing 3 of the allen bolts that bolt the starter clutch to the flywheel, then use a puller and long bolts to pull it off. You can probably do with with just removing 2 bolts opposite eachother and using a steeringwheel puller.
