Okay have anybody seen this thing? Me and 93warriorridr when to our yamaha store to get my valve springs changed and omg its awsome. I cant find any info on the yamaha website about it, and its kinda pissing me off. It looks amazing. The frame is all blue, the plastics are white and the front nose peice is carbonfiber blue. It looks amazing. O and the clutch feals amazing too. Im not sure if its the 2008 SE but im pritty sure becasue it was brand new and they jsut got it in their. I didnt bother to check if it was 2008. But has anyone seen one? What do you think?

My dealer had one also.

This is the color scheme but on the 700.

i saw one with an orange frame and black plastics with orange hood.looked awesome but i wish they would make a damn 400
I hear that. If they made a 400 with reverse, I'd buy one tomorrow. They've gotta be losing alot of business to honda and the others from people that want something bigger that is not purely a race setup. I know they have the 700 but some people dont want that much bike.

Personally when you can get a suzuki's 400 for about the same price as the honda 400ex and doesn't have the technogy of the Z, I wouldn't even consider the honda. IMO.

I just listed Honda because it was the shortest manufacturer's name to type. I'm just saying if there was a yamaha 400, it would probably sell well. Maybe they will make that 4-stroke 500 Banshee that dirt wheels did an article on. That would be sweet.

+1 I have a buddy that has a Z400 and it is a nice quad and fun as hell to ride. I see what you are saying though blacknred it is surprising that they do not try to capture some of that market. Maybe they figure the rappy 350 falls in there or they are developing something newer. A 500 four stroke would be pretty sweet. I am anxious to see what the KTM 525 does. It will be expensive, but it should be a nice quad. I think the newer mfg's coming in is nice. If nothing else it will cause the others to step up their game and produce better machines for all of us.

The Warrior/Raptor has only been around for 20 years, what are you guys complaining about? Its not like we really need a usable reverse, neutral, or an oil cooler.

I read an article where they did a shootout between the ktm525 and the regular 500 outlaw and they said that the 500 handled better than the 525 so the added power was kinda negated by the worse handling. Apparently they had to change the position of the motor and that threw off the bike's balance a little so it was kind of a wash. Who knows. My next bike will be either a 660 or a polaris predator or outlaw unless they do make that 4-stroke Banshee. I should have taken the $2500 I spent on the warrior plus the $1000 I've put into it so far and put that down on a new 700 or bought a used 660. But it was my first bike and I wasn't ready for either of those. But I am now!!
