ok not to jack the thread but when you change perches what do you do with the parking brake cable? Do you just cut the wires and tape them so they dont touch?

Just unplug them from the harness. You'll have to take the hood off, then follow the wires down to the plugs. Unplug the brake sensor and that's bypassed, the clutch wires get unplugged from the sensor, and then plugged back into each other to bypass them.

is one of the plugs the brake and the other the clutch? so just unplug both of them and then take one from the brake and one from the clutch and plug them together? I hate the stock perch its so nasty..im getting a longhorn from RM..

Yeah, one is the parking brake rev limiter, which will have a single white plastic plug you just disconnect. The other is for the clutch, which is to prevent someone to try starting it in gear without pulling in the clutch. It'll have 2 seperate spade connectors, one male and one female. You just plug the harness back into itself when you disconnect the switch. Once you actually see it, it should make more sense.
