Digital Video Cameras

I've been thinking about getting a digital video camera because i can't put videos off of my normal tape camera onto my computer to edit/make videos. What digital video cameras do you guys use? I don't want anything too expensive because I don't have a big budget. I just need somthing to make decent videos.

my digital camera ( small, used for stills ) can take a 25 min video cause i bought a 1 gig card. its not bad quality untill you blow it up big. look in the speak freely secksion under "guitar playerr (vid!) " and you can look at my vid.
