Ebay CDI boxes, are they worth it? They claim they have a better timing curve.

It would maybe give you a smidge more power, but prolly not much ,however if your cdi is bad this is the best alternative to a stock one, hell even the stock ones used for 100 plus.

But the best aftermarket cdi is the dyna hands down.

The only problem with the dyna is the $300+ asking price, and for a fast trail woods rider, I don't think I need somthing that sofisticated.

My bike had a Procom box on it when i got it. It was ok but it didn't seem to like the modded engine. I bought the Dyna FS and I love it. But I understand not wanting to pay the $300 (+90 if you want the programming kit). Like DSW said, if your's took a ****, go for an aftermarket piece. But the stock one works very well till you have tons of mods.

No I didn't but one. I'm just looking for a better spark curve then stock, because of the modded engine. But no my stock piece is fine.
