from what i've heard, that setup is going to be crap for jumping, because the shock will be straight up and down and throw off how the entire system works together.

And you spend $116 on a steel bracket? Damn I gotta start selling chunks of metal on ebay, some fool will buy it eventually.

Dude-I do desert-type riding, jumps to me at my age are not a good idea, but whatever-your opinion is your opinion ::)whoops and drywashes and potholes need travel and my quad is an 87,(no a-arms available)---so I will get wheel travel and better rebound this way ;)

He is right, but for the riding you described it should work, but all and all you will prolly have more in it than a set of works would cost you. After the 120 dollar bracket and a decent set of yfz shocks can go from 150 to 300.

How are there no many a-arms available for a warrior. All the warrior a-arms fit on an 87'. Armadilllo, hsd, american star, lone star plus alot more.

What do you mean? 87 & 88's have a completely different front end from all the other years. Frame, a-arms, mounts, everything is different.

Show me a set of aftermarket shocks for a STOCK Warrior that have 9 inches of travel,3-way adjustability, and a remote gas rezzie. Then tell me what they will cost.I think my idea is the only way to go.Plus I like to be different than everybody else!Anyway all opions are welcome, but not allways correct.

Where are you getting 9 inches of travel from?
Thats what those shocks will do-the stock shocks are way shorter, with far less rebound-if you had no shocks at all the a-arms would travel about 13 inches

quite a few worrior/rappys riders are starting to do this set up as a cheap alternative......

I actually have wanted +2 or +4 arms for a long time-I am bummed that no-one makes them for my bike
