Get a rolled bead or reinforcement rings with a .190 rim. As most of you know I landed a little wrong and bent my axle but also bent my rim, I've turned it into a half square. Pretty disappointed as I spent alot of money for something so easy to bend. The stockers I know would have held up as they have a rolled edge and that really helps strength.

The OEM wheels with the rolled edge is also known as a "Dixie Cup Design", and they are pretty strong. I always had WAY better luck with stock wheels than standard ITP or Douglas .190's.

As you found out, OEM, Beadlocks, or Baja wheels (thats the "reinforcement ring" style you mentioned) are definitely the way to go.

ive had .190 douglas wheels since i bought my quad and havent bent them. As far as strength though they really dont compare to the stockers.
