I've been at this thing for a week or more and I can't get it right.
I did the plug check at 1/2 throttle on a new plug and took the plug out and it looked brand new untouched so It's very lean but the needle has only one adjustment on it what should do? Can I buy a adjustably needle from somewhere? the dealship says no and doesn't the dyno jet kit come with a different needle I got the gyr-t kit and just got main and pilot jets. please help i'm hopless

no its doesn't pop or anything it just seems like it doesn't have the power in the midrange area, it seems ok in the top end but just doesn't have the snap in the midrage area if that makes sense.

The only thing that really concerns me is that I can't get a straight answer from anyone about the needle clip, dealership says one thing. local shops say one thing, hmf says another. do I need a aftermaket one or what it seems to me that not being able to adjust 1/4 through 3/4 throttle has something to do with my problem

The problem with mid throttle points and coloring the plug is that it takes alot longer. I would call dynojet and ask them if they have adjustable needles in there kit also what they would recomend. I would make sure the carburator is ok (like the diaphram inside) and everything other then jetting is good to go.
