How do I put a jet kit on? is it hard? i really have no clue about them so tell me everything u know thanks

I'm not to sure myself. But I know I was told that if I brought my carb. into the dealers they can do it right there on the desk so I don't think it is hard. I'm going to need to jet myself when I my Yoshi. soon.

It's incredibly easy, but I wouldn't go with a jet kit, they're not worth the money. Just go to your local dealership or parts store and order a 147.5 and 150 size Mikuni screw type main jet. That's all you'll need. And it won't cost you any more than $10. Just to be sure you should take you main jet off and bring it to wherever you're going though. There's a really good guide at bluetraxx http://www.bluetraxx.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=37378//url

I knew about as much as you before I read this guide, now I bet I could rejet it with my eyes closed. :D

I personally prefer using a dynojet kit to start out for your first time, their under $50 on ebay and you get about 10 jets and a needle well worth it and a how to manual, I had problems more than once going to the dealer ether getting wrong jet that the threads are different or size said 150 but more like 120 or some mechanic drilled 150 to a 180 and put it back in dealers inventory, know when I buy jets a measure them

The dynojet kit is crap, I know from experience. Their jets have different size ratings (150 dynojet is bigger than a normal 150) and the needle just blows, it richens the mixture at half-throttle, that really confused me. You don't have to go to a dealer, you can get a parts store to order them for you, you won't need more than 3 sizes, which should add up to no more than $15.
