I've been wanting to paint my wheel hubs for a while because they're getting a little crusty looking, but I can't decide what color to paint them.

Here's the colors i'm trying to pick between:
-Red Metallic
-Charcoal Metallic
-Black
-White
-Silver

I've been trying to go with a black/white color scheme with red accents, but i'm not sure if it would be too much red. Let me know what you think, thanks

i have my hole frame blood red and hubs looks great i would go with red i dont think it would be too much

I just remembered that I have some red to green chameleon paint leftover from my helmet. What do you guys think about that?

i was thinking bout doing that to my hubs too, i have that dupont mirage or some ****,i'd say go for it, worse comes to worse you can just repaint them

I've made my decision. I'm going with metallic red hubs, and i'm repainting the front trim ring charcoal metallic. I think it's going to look pimp. Now I just need to get my warrior back, i've already got a stack of new parts I didn't get to put on it yet.

did someone mention my two-tone hubs! ;D

hows that been holdin up for ya?? any chipping or fading

not one bit, the bonus with painting the hub compared to other parts is they dont get dirty, your wheels can be covered in mud but your hubs will be clean as a whistle. not one chip in them yet, they look brand new!

well i used dupli-color automotive paint, i used there self etching primer first and then i painted the white, and then the red, i think i used just one coat of white, and 2 of the red, it might have been 2 of both, im not sure
