Today while riding the lower balljoint popped out of the socket. I have a manual but cant find anything about repairing it. Can I just pop it back in? Looked on E-bay and saw some for like $100.00 But I can not figure out how to get them out of the A-frame. Do I need a special too to remove them or can I do it with a hammer and vice grips. Thanks for any help.

They are not replacable, the entire a-arm must be replaced. That is, unless you have an 87, that is the only year that has replacable ball joints. And if one of the joints popped out, prop the front end up off the ground and check for free play in the other ball joints, because most likely the others aren't far behind in doing the same thing. Replace any that have any noticable amount of play.

Yes and no.
The are not designed as replaceable, but for a guy with a machine/fab shop and some skill/ingenuity they are replaceable. However, if I were to charge a proper shop rate to start doing them for other people it would cost as much or more than buying ebay arms. The only advantage is that when I am done with them, they are bolt in.

To answer the original question, get a new arm like Yamar says.
