its a throttle position switch. i dont know why they have them there. there kinda pointless! but the top of that carb looks like it needs a MAJOR cleaning hauler. looks like your gunna need to do a carb overhauler lol

yeah it's a big chunk of ice gonna let it thaw overnight and then clean it up with some carb cleaner.

now I just need a new throttle cable and we'll be in business

yerp that seems to be it. well good luck! the top of that carb is a pain in the ass! (when it is rusted)

Does no one on here use Amsoil?
I love the stuff!
Even the 1 stroke stuff. They make it in these nice little packets. Add it to a gallon of gas shake and use. No measuring or anything.
As for the synthetics in my engine I use the Amsoil ATV oil. It's designed for wet clutches.
I know everyone has there opinions on oil for sure but this is my $0.02.
As for another 2 stroke, it would be another TRX250R.

Where do you get those 2stroke amsoil packets and cost? seems like it would be way easier than measuring

My Carquest auto parts store sells them.
I can remember the cost.
If you can't find any let me know I'll send you some when I get home.

Amsoil recommends 3 different oils for the Blaster, Saber is one of them.
They recommend the 0W-40 Formula 4-Stroke power sports oil for all season use in the Warrior.
That's what I use I mine.
They have a nice product finder on the website.

Man that carb was seriously Schmutzed!! Make sure you clean the slide, and bore really good. Then take some type of polishing compound to the slide.. You could polish the bore just a bit to. The freer that slide moves the better. (The slide is usually nickle plated. If it's all scratched to ****, you might have to replace it.)

Also if your at any motorsport shops in the next while, grab yourself a mixing bottle.. They have all the mixing info on them. I have a few for mixing gas.
It takes all the guess work out of it for ya.

Cool!! thanks Josh I'll have to check it out and see if I can find it.
i bought a measuring cup fro m dennis kirk, but most atv dealers sell them. it is awesome! gives you the increments for every ratio you would want, and for 3 different amounts of gas. i also think i have some hubs, i will check when i get home from work

If your mixing the gas in the "mixing bottle" then i would call it a bottle, my is a measuring cup with the increments on the side to "measure" the oil to put in the gas can. If you want to get technical.

that crap on top of the carb is called the TORS or Throttle Over Ride System
and if that is a stock pipe on it that could pe your problem a 320 main is WAY TOO Big the stock jet is a 230 main

Lmao..

Heres what I have.

Now the one on the left is a mixing bottle.. (Anything with a cap on it is a bottle to me) It has all the measurements from 100:1 to 24:1.. It can treat up to 50 gallons of fuel. It is very simple to use.
On the right is a measuring cup I got out of the cupboard.. It does measure fluid, but doesn't have the amount to add to the fuel.. See where I'm going here..

Just bust'n your balls though oldwarriorrider, I'm make'n a joke out of it. :iagree:

I got the TORS mohawk thingy cleaned up and the throttle levers moving freely and I'm gonna polish the slide and then I just need a throttle cable and we can see if she'll pop off.
I know when I kick it over the temp light on the dash lights up briefly so that's gota be a good thing right
