Alright i just installed my fmf header and jet kit. im running a 45 pilot and a 150 main with the air screw 3 turns out. I have the hmf slip on by the way.

For some reason it feels like i have lost all my snap and only got smoothness. Its pissing me off because i drilled 6 airbox holes too and still didnt feel like that much of a gain. The jetting looks to be alright too- header is gold with a touch of purple but not much at all so its almost perfect. i even raced danthemans z again and lost by 4-5 lengths when i used to be 2 give or take 3.

a uni is on its way soon but other than that i dont undserstand why the **** i didnt get much more power. i understand that the warrior is air cooled and not a very good hop up bike but my friend is running the same setup with a k&n on his raptor350 and got much (and i mean alot) better results.

im getting ready to just buck up and buy a 450r when i get the chance. any suggestions on what i can do besides the filter? ??? ??? really just want to get this bike up to snuff instead of dishing the muhla.

thanks guys-ant

stroker kit get like the 400cc kit cuz i dont thing you need machining for that one... but i could be wrong not to familiar with that stuff ...yet

well the fmf header doesnt add that much of a diffrence over your stock header (by wht ive been told) but are you sure your jetting is done right???

jetting was smooth all the way up and down rpm scale. no backfire at all. it adds enough to need rejetting and beter flow. i just dont understand how my friend got such a big gain compared to me. i think i might have lost power actaully.

You might be running rich, and remember the header doesn't add a lot of power, only switches your powerband to more midrange and top end. Have you tried a plug test with a new spark plug? Often a piped warrior will be right on during a 147.5 jet and one size larger than stock for the pilot. Even a slightly rich mixture will bog your power down, and often you can't really tell because it is so slightly rich. I would recommend going back down to a 147.5 and toying with it for a bit to see if it helps any. I know one habit with the stock header is to shift prematurely, and using mostly bottom end and midrange. With this header on you should be almost always in the midrange and top end, it transfers most of your power up there.

yea i think ill drop the main down. i need a new plug so ill let you know that works out. did you feel much more with the pb box?
