I am thinking about putting a clutch cover oil cooler on my 91 warrior, I am new to this site and only been riding for about 3 months. I read up on how to make and install one but I have a couple of questions, first what pumps the oil into the lines and oil cooler? And second I there any recommended oil cooler size?

IDK what size cooler, but the motor has a oil pump that pushes the oil through the cooler and lines.

I just thought the oil pump was on the other side of the engine. As long as I mount the hoses on the clutch cover as recommended ( how everyone else has) then oil will pump through the line?

I’m confused I know there is marking on the back side of the cover where to drill the holes. Besides putting the holes in the right place is there anything else I need to do to make sure the oil will pump through the lines and oil cooler correctly

IDK. There should be a sticky on here, if not check bluetraxx, I think they have a sticky with pics otherwise 1998yamahawarrior can tell you or mod it for you.Good luck.

I recommend if this is your first time but a cheap cover off of eBay. If you are doing this yourself on the only cover you have, just a little off of the right spot and you are down for a while.
I just did one last night. Measure a thousand times drill once.

Another trick
On the upper hole drill it small, check your placement in the journal, if you need to go one way or the other use your drill bit to kind of grind it the way you need to go.
Drill in steps, don't get greedy.
And don't drill to deep.
