Even though I dont have a clue who the member or his wife is Im thinking of them anytime I can!

Same here. I have an old friend who I haven't talked to in years (life gets in the way when you are 6hrs away) that is in the hospital. Found out on Saturday that he had massive heart attack and is in the ICU in Jersey Shore Medical Center. Haven't heard anything from our friends up there. Had two shunts? put in and he was in good spirits last I heard. And he just only turned 30!

So I've been thinking about a couple people...

Ditto. No clue and it doesn't matter. Lets keep this goin to help our forum brother get thru this rough time.

I know you guys have no clue. If he wants to chime in he will. I just thank you all for showing your support. Sorry to hear about your buddy Pat. Glad to hear he is doing well.

Well, I guess he is. Would have heard if he got worse. Atleast, I would think that I would. But, back on track, I sure hope things turn for the better.

I want to take a minute to show my appreciation to you all. I really didn't want to reveal who it was that needed the prayers, but that is not fair to you.
My wife was admitted into the hospital on Thursday night for breathing difficulties. Thursday turned into Friday and so on. We are now almost at a week and we are worse than when she arrived. She is now in the ICU. She wears oxygen constantly and used a bipap on schedule to keep her oxygen saturation level just at acceptable levels.
Her lungs now do not want to due their part to keep the body working.
We have been looking for a diagnosis since we got here. All the tests come back normal and such. Quite frustrating. But we remain positive an look for forward progress each day but as for now we just hope to maintain where we are at. If we can't get ahold on this the next step is a ventilator.
She remains positive and hopeful. She appreciates the thoughts and prayer of the forum members and their families.
Through all of this I have been able to lean heavily on a few of the members. I believe without that I would be lying next to her breathing from the same machine!
If it wasn't for YFM I would not have the great friends I have.
At the beginning of this night I am hopeful for a bright new morning to come, of a wife that is healthier, daughters that are not worried about their mother, and diagnosis good or bad. My family is quite tough, we have been fighting this in solved mystery for 11 yrs now. But this is by far the worst I have seen.
Once again I so appreciate all of you! It means a lot to my family a speaks volumes for the YFM family.

Hope they find something out for you Sparky. Now I can direct things a little more and even harder. I really do hope they figure something out and can help her out. Let me know if you need anything. Ill do what I can if you ask!

Prayers are with you and your family! I really hope things turn around quickly and life gets back to normal for both of you. Think positive. ;)

I'm glad in a way to know who it is. Not glad that it is happening to you folks, ofcourse. Or that it could be happening to anyone, for that matter. Yall haven't left my thoughts.
