After putting my new back shock on the other day I noticed that the swingarm skid is on the verge of touching the rotor. I beat it down with a hammer and a giant metal pipe but I bet theres not 4-5 sheets of paper clearance between the two. Does anyone else have this problem or is it just my skid?

I have the same problem on my DG Baja skid, but so far it doesn't seem to be an issue. It's taken a beating, and granted it is kinda close to the rotor than I would like it, I have about 5-7 mm between the two. Not much else to do but bend or beat it back away from the rotor.

my rotor made it's own groove at least 1/8" into my skid, and it didn't do any harm. Every time the skid gets hit on the right wing like that it just gets a little higher up. I wouldn't worry about it, stainless steel is a lot tougher than aluminum, so the rotor will take care of the problem for ya ;)

My problem is on the chain side. I've beat it back a few times already, it's probably time for a new one.

I just stopped using them haha. My yellow z is the one with a full skid set up, my grey one has little to none.
But I know what you mean, same **** happened to my skid, it makes a gay ass noise and really pisses me of lol

mine was like that it was bent up on both side so i took it off and made a custom one out of 1/4 steel yea its a little thick but it was scrap and all i had
