Hey guys, my steering stem is bent and twisted, and I already have a new one, now all I need to do is swap them out. Before I dive into this, i'm looking for suggestions or maybe even a short step-by-step so I know the best way to do it before I get started. Any problems I may encounter, any tricks that may make it easier for me, and what I do and don't need to take apart would really help me out. Thanks.

tie rods gotta come off, all the front plastic, some of the wiring may need to be moved or taken out, its not too hard. just time consuming.

hmm i just polished mine, i found it easier to take the tie rods off first before i took the rest apart, it made it easier for me to wrench them because the whole top wasnt coming apart, than the nut on the bottom and than the clamp on top, not very hard at all.

you dont even need to take all the plastics off just the nose peice. undo the bolt for the stem fist then the tie rods and then the stem box / console and pul the stem out it may take a little manovering tords the End but will come rite out.

Thanks, I got it all back together today, and it went smoother than I expected it would. I just had to go down to the powersports shop and order a new clamp and seals for the top because I found that the plastic part of the clamp was cracked, but I got it back together and it's ridable. I just gotta work on getting the front end re-aligned with the honda-style tie rods and end kit.
