Is it true that the stock shocks wear out at about 50 to 100 HRs of hard riding? If so that would explain why the front suspention bottoms out so easy.
 
I can't see them wearing out that fast. But if you are a bigger guy and you ride hard it will have a pretty good effect on them. I am 6' 215lbs. and when I am riding hard I often bottom out but the handling in tight stuff and stability has remained the same as the day i bought it.
 
yes mine sucks very much as well! I weight about 155lbs and im 5"10 and I go off about 4 foot jumps and it bottoms out. Thats why Im afraid to go off the big jumps at the race track because of my suspension. LOL you should see my rear shock, picture this, when I rev it up really high it makes the rear end push up and down. Not when Im sitting on it though.

thats what mine did do till i got all new shock on it makes a big difference
 
the shocks i was looking at buying are the works G-series those seem to be pretty bad ass, and not to bad price either, with 5/8 inch shafts and ****, and only like $429 ish bucks, those are what i was thinkin of buying...
