well i was cleaning my rappy and i saw that i have the two upper bolts missing outta the swingarm skid where it connects to the swingarm..... does anyone know what i can do to keep them bolts tight??? i was thinkin about puting a dab of JB weld on the nut side of the screw???? think that'd work?

are they nut and bolt type...or is the swinger threaded for the bolts....if it's threaded than use lock tight...if not get some self locking nuts and self locking washers!! imo!

When you get replacement nut and bolts, get a locknut with the nylon ring in them. That'll never come loose if you make them tight enough. Definitely don't use JB weld, i wouldn't even use loctite on those. You'll kick yourself in the ass when you need to take that skid back off.

Loctite has never worked for me for skid plates. I guess I'm too ruff on them and they still end up coming loose. Lock washers, and double up on lock nuts, that works for me. Torque the two locknuts into each other and use the lock washer and loctite, that always works.
