Here we go, I'm going to throw stuff down to make a mock ad, let me know if you can relate or have gone down this road before... or if there's anything to add...

1992 Yamaha Warrior 350 - $1650 (About 50 miles from where anybody lives)

Up for sale is my 92 warrior. Lots of punch. needs some work though to really shine!

-Leaks Oil
-Seat has huge tears
-Carb may need to be cleaned.....
-Won't stay in gear
-Plastics are a "little" rough from a few rolls
-Needs new battery, ignition, Heel Guards, Chain and bottom end seals
-Shocks.... The front one is ok... Recommend some new ones...
-Tires are great! 50% tread, slow leak to the front right, currently have 8 cans of fix-a-flat in the back left.
-Some frame damage... but only cosmetic
-There is an electrical issue... Nothing big but I THINK a new battery will fix it.
-Only runs in reverse
-Cams could use adjustment. Ticks really loud.
-No title, but I PROMISE it's not stolen.

Price is Firm! This is a great bike, just needs a few things... Hell I'd even throw in a 99 frame with bill of sale. Please send me a name and a # and we'll talk!

So what do you think? What was the DUMBEST Craigslist ad you ever saw for a warrior?

My son has his "98 on craigslist right now, some knucklehead texted me last night and asked if I would be interested in trading for a "90 polaris indy 500 with bad crank bearings! WTF!!! I guess you have nothing to lose to ask.

They all sound like bornwithnobrains wardog!! LMAO!!!!!

lol yea....but mine aint that bad sheez! mine dont leak no more...O-ring fixed it! and mine is running now all back up....i put on a better set of white plastics and she looks perty..ill prob have a video up monday

yea look in pics i posted of what it looked like after we tore it down AND THEN AFTER i put everything back on and cleaned her.....the only damage was....right brake leve broke off at the plate bolts....front right A-arm....and both back rims on my itp spiders got bent

Some dude wanted to trade me an early 90's john deere mower for my warrior about a year ago... this was some oldschool ****. prob worth 200 best at a pawnshop. I love when people ask if i'd take a 70's 100cc dirtbike that needs some work. hahaha.

There was a guy selling a blue and white 1st gen about 1.5 hours from me, back in April. Had no price, wanted to trade. Said the bike is in decent shape, but has been sitting for while, will need carb cleaned, battery, etc... Says he's intested in most anything. So, I offer him a fiberglass camper shelf to a Dodge Dakota(maybe he has one), no go. I offer, a Poulan Counter Vibe 3400 chainsaw (a damn noice saw), no bite. I offered him a generator(it does need the carb cleaned), still no deal. I finally ask him what it'd take to buy it, his reply, $6000! What! Are you just wanting to waste people's time! ******* *******!

Yea I think when I was looking to buy my 2nd warrior I ran into that kind of stuff too... no price and when they finally get around to you its like 2000 over blue book. for a quad with no title. There's a guy selling one for nearly 2000 it's like a 98 with no front plastics or headlight... "great bike blah blah blah".. I'm happy with what I got. At least 2 of the 3 where from honest people..
