I have my Banshee listed locally on Craigslist. I put in the ad that I would consider trade for a comparable Warrior, Raptor 350, or Wolverine 350. http://ksu.craigslist.org/mcy/2542985424.html

Anyway a guy called me today and has either an 05 Raptor 350SE or a 2000 Warrior 350. We were talking trade deal on the Raptor till he started talking $300 difference. I told him I had an extra set of cylinders with fresh .020 hone and used Vitos pistons I could throw in for the Raptor as well. He didn't seem to think that was enough. Then he starts talking trading the Warrior. My dilema is I think with all the extras the Raptor is a closer trade deal than the Warrior. I feel like if he wants to trade the Warrior I need to keep all the extras and will still feel like I am being shorted about $500.

Anyway what do you guys think?

Get that Raptor, that is equal, your getting screwed if you get a Warrior in trade for a Banshee...

Especially with all the aftermarket you have. Not to mention my buddy bought a 05 Raptor 350 4 or 5 years ago for 3600 and prices go down over time so if he wont trade for the rappy even up Id tell him to get lost. Hes trying to screw you.

I'd agree with that, but around here a Raptor 350 goes for about 2k used generally on the high side? I see them sell a lot for around 1800 though. Warriors there's just too many of them out there so they aren't worth a lot you'd definitely be short changing it for that.

if you weren't so far away i'd trade you my warrior for that shee and maybe kick in a few dollars on top.

I am going to chat with my buds at the dealer today and get their thoughts on the deal. Also found an 05 Raptor North of me that the guy is more in line with my price and says he wants to trade for a Banshee.

Just talked to the dealer. Average retail on their showroom would be $2350 by the book. Said if really nice it could bring $2500. Average trade in is $1655. He made out like the SE was something special but the dealer told me that the only thing different was the color of the plastics and maybe a different front bumper. All other aspects exactly the same as a standard Raptor 350.

We discussed the price on my Banshee and he said it is hard to value the Banshee by the book. Said they are usually bringing way more than book if and when they even see one. Getting harder to come by now that you can't buy them in the US any more.

I'd keep the shee.

Probably will keep it at this rate. Not a sellers market right now and may be a long time before it is. I don't have to sell it or trade it. I'm just gettin to the point in my life where I don't need all the power that the Banshee has. It is an awesome ATV to ride and is a ball at the dunes. I just don't get to go to the dunes much any more since it is a 5 hour drive. When I ride trails I hate to get it off the trailer. It is too wide and low and I hate getting it dirty and muddy.

It does ok at the one site we ride. The place I really like to ride is pretty rocky and I don't have any skids on it at all. I took the rear skid off last time I was at the dunes because it was like a shovel and kept high centering in the trails. That skid is a pain to take off and put back on. The biggest thing is the reverse on the Warrior has me spoiled. If you get in a tight spot on the Banshee you have to muscle it around. I'm gettin too old for that!! It is fun when we get a few guys together for a little drag action.

I don't have to sell or trade it and will be perfectly happy if it does or doesn't.
