Warrior A arms?

i seen on youtube a kid had honda 400ex A arms on his warrior what hubs and other things would i need and does it make wider or will this even work? how can i widen it.

And what is a pen spring mod?

it replaces the oem accelorator pump spring in the carb for a stiffer pen spring one so there is no dead spot when you go to instant wide open throttle

Ya it's something I found 400ex a arms are close but you'd need the ones with the helm mounts and Yamaha ball joints to use the warrior spindle. I think I know who your talking about, black quad? He's a member on here but was only on for a short time

It will you can get the full flight or asr long travel and you can be close to 50" and use a 17" shock

Yea im running them, you cant run the OEM400ex arms without running Honda spindles and hubs, if you use aftermarket they haveto be ordered with Yamaha balljoints. And they haveto run longer shocks. Its been a while but I think 300 ex arms are the same but not long travel, there's a how to thread I wrote up last winter when I did the conversion. I cant look it up because im on mobile

If you can use the oem spindles and arms. I've got lowers, spindles, tie rods I would sell cheap. I was trying to use them on my daughters 250ex. Bottom line it wouldn't work and I have the stuff setting in my garage.

The 250x/300ex and the 400ex, all use the same a arm mounting and shock deminsions. I BELIEVE that the 250r uses the same deminsions, also.

Yoh need spindles front wheels, hubs, calipers, and arms to make em work.

The shock mounts are different on the 250/300 and the 400, factory 400 arms Are +2 on the warrior, +2 400 arms Are +4 on the warrior. So +4 = 49" wide. I believe+2 is 46" wide if I recall.

hey dune you dont happen to know of any aftermarket companies that sell the long travel for the warrior so you dont have to go to all that trouble do you?
