Ahh man. Gotta take it easy Ed..... Gonna be a real nice build I bet. That machine will be top notch. You already said its a beast as it was; so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with it

I sand blasted the valve covers, the cam covers, and them primed and painted them, including the a arms. And polished the head, the exhaust and intake ports

Engine assembled, frame finished and dropped off for powder. 2015 big changes for my Elite

Well the weather finally warmed up 72 degrees got some things done on the Wolf this weekend.
Pulled the stator cover to replace the cam chain was amazed how spotlessly clean the inside of motor was after that I installed the .040 over 10.25:1 Wiseco piston and jug
Then today I got the head back from Alvin (Midwayusa)
So hopefully I'll be able to get a fresh coat of black on it and installed tomorrow then the only thing left will be installing the new Driveline heavy-duty clutch kit and she'll be ready to hit the trails opening day May 1st

Can't find my feeler guages to set the valve lash so that be as far as I got today

Gonna pick up some conventional 4 stroke oil for the break in cycle along with a new set of feeler guages
Still debating on changing out the clutch with the new Driveline heavy-duty clutch kit may just run it till the clutch in it starts getting bad then swap it out
What do you guys think??

Just run it, Ed. Semi-auto quads take forever to wear out a clutch. You'd have to hammer on it pretty damn good to make one take a crap.

I agree. My brother has a moto 4 225 that's older than dirt and has been dead and brought back to life twice now... still has the original clutch in it to the best of my knowledge.

Well got a few more things buttoned up before calling it a day.
Bolted up carb and air box & crank vent tube and bolted on head pipe.
That's what I figured Pat but then again she is now gonna be turning 28's lol
I'll just run it till she goes then in goes the Driveline
