Read the experiance I had with 2 of them in 87/917 steering stem bearing thread in instructional section. Best to go buy a new lock nut.

so is there a lock ring holding the bearing in cause the nut on the bottom comes off no prob

There is only a externally threaded nut that goes over the bearing and threads into the bearing mount. It takes a 36mm? allen socket. I just used a BIG bolt and welded a nut to it.

I got everything all buttoned up today, my front brakes are on (not bled).. I'm damn near ready for a trail ride.. I just hope she holds together???
The wife also gave me the ok to drop a few hundred more into her, so I can enjoy whats left of summer.. (Thanx Babe)

On another note, I called ASR today to talk to them about making a custom order.. They went over all the parts I wanted, and saved my order for future reference when I'm ready to buy.

I love that company!!
They have the best customer service ever!

2 thumbs up for ASR :tup:

New member, just wanted to say "Whats Up, all!!"

I've picked up a dead 2000 Warrior (in feb), and I've been rebuilding it. I just installed the FMF powerbomb header and Q4 FMF exhuast. Also, I installed the Pro-Elite stabilizer. It took me about 45mins to install all of it....I'd like to say that I've been ease dropping on this site everytime I had a problem with my rebuild. I've got alot of help from many of you, just by follow along the threads. I'm not sure which one of you I got the info from. But I like to say "Thank You to All for the great advise. And "Thanks to you guys that had the same problem like me and asked for help..I hope you guys fixed your problems." Now that my Warrior is looking super and running like a "champ", I finally registered as a yfm350 member, so I can get help or maybe help you! Hope to get to know you guys!

Well were do I start with what I did today??

First I blew the dust off an old set of Alba nerfs I had kick'n around, and installed them. (They look great BTW)
Finally got my stock rear shock that I've been waiting 2 months for, and installed that. Never got my lower chain roller though...

Painted my motor mounts gold, changed the bushings in my a arms, set the load on the rear shock. Cleaned, and prepped my case for my kicker (slightly modded "again").
Then drank about 10 beer..

It was a productive day.

adjusted valves in the 01 and 02 warthogs
painted the cam cover on 02
