lol it will look WICKED! how are you gonna keep the front wheels locked?

Not sure yet how I'm gonna lock the hubs from spinning around?
not liking the bolt through the rotor might cause some unexpected damage.
was thinking of like a inline brake lock like they put on some muscle drag cars for doing brake stands.
but I really don't think I'll be needing to lock the hub not like I'll be pulling the front end up in the snow can't get enough traction
just gonna be casual trail riding with them for now
I might even eventually have to go to plastic ski's cause these steel ski's are fricken heavy

You would want the ski to pivot. That way it'll take stress off the mount when going over bumps..
The ski would have to come 2 feet off the ground before it would spin over. As long as you have it planted that setup should work just fine.

yeah it should be fine there's no way I'm gonna get the front end off the ground enough to spin the ski's
sure wish I could find a pair of plastic ski's for cheap but they are so damn expensive!

Yeah I'm watching a few of those already thanks

Has anyone ran Paddle tires in the snow?
just wondering if I'll get better traction with paddles or won't it matter?

Up at home (which is 700 miles north of were I am now, is a place where it actually snows)....
Anyway we used to cut our own tire designs, then drive 2,1/2" screws threw them. If you can still find tubes these days. Or if you have some tire balls, thats the way to do it.. :iagree:

We could blast threw 2 feet of snow with those tires.. Of course our quads were 4x4's, but it's the same basic concept.

You could just wire tie your front brake lever?????
You may need to shim it so it is a little bit farther from your bars.
Just a cheap thought

What what whaaaaaa. The world really must be ending on the 21st because I actually wrenched on my quad yesterday.

Stripped it down to prep for the SPAL fan install. Got the engine out to bore for the new piston. Also got the rear end prepped for the FSR sprocket guard combo install. Gunna be pimp when I get the mad cow back in action.

so the wife and i are going to pick my x-mas present tomorrow .. and what might that be you ask .... BAM!!!

Well I was given a bumper of my friends 05' 660 rappy today.
He told me it was chrome... It's not.
I dunno if I'm gonna use it yet, but it does look kinda cool.
