What did you do to your quad today?

I did a good bit of little things, paint, sanding, mocking. The normal.

Did an oil change today. Messiest oil change I ever did on anything.

Trying to build up parts wright now before i dig in,, i wont tell the stories but this is what i have so far,,, Drivelines clutches, side cover gasket, accellerator pump kit, starter, new factory decals, black hood,have coming in the mail heel gaurds, tail light rubber mounts,flywheel puller, i think thats it but could be more!!!

Today i mounted a new intake manifold and my new pipe!!

Because I have a full skid plate and oil went everywhere.

Quick tip, remove skid plate before oil change, takes longer but much easier, and you can clean that dirt magnet of a skid plate!

I'm away from where I'm keeping the YFM for a few days and wanted to go for a ride... My 62' vw buggy was just what the Doc ordered. Slower then the quad but still fun to play with in the snow.

Mounted R1 tailight with working brake light, bench tested new Hid bulbs they are alot brighter than stock cant wait to get my plastics on so I can figure out were im gonna mount the ballasts.

Today was an up and down kinda day. Got my new front rim today. Got her all put back together other than the one wheel that I need to paint. Then I fired it up.....starter clutch not sounding good at all and she's smoking a bit on start up......grrrrrr. gonna have to ride it the way it is for now. Can't spend anymore cash. Bummer dudes

don't worry about the valve seals lol its pretty common for the smoke upon startup but what color of smoke is it ?

White. I didnt run it long. It would smoke some if I goosed it too

I sure hope so. I dont remember it doing that this summer. Hope the starter clutch holds out too. If I spend any more coin my wife is gonna stab me! Lol
