I like this one, it's cheap and has great reviews on Rocky Mountain. Don't really need a super fancy one being as I'm saving money for a car, I think this one will do unless I can find a better one.

Either way, definitely gonna do the raptor clutch mod before this summer. I'm assuming it's pretty easy to install for a newbie like me?

Ya man its easy

I did alot,
Polished the wishbone then clear coated it
Finished smoothing the caliper bracket, painted it satin black.
assembled the rear end.
Welded the frame back together around the rear link mount because I broke it.
Installed my front brake line clamps.
and prepped the chassis for the motor that should be in it tomorrow.

Hydro clutch rebuilt and installed.

Well I got my Scrambler running today, and I'm working on the 490. I just need some fuel, and I can get it going... I got my new chain on, but still have no way to hold my plastics on. (I guess I won't go to fast. lol)
It's supposed to be really nice here over the next few days, maybe I'll make a riding video yet?

So I got my new shifter today, and I'm working on uninstalling the stock one, and I've gotten this far. How do I get the stock shift lever off?

I'm sure it's something simple but I figured you guys would be able to give me a quick response so I'm not outside in the 20 degree unheated garage freezing my hands off trying to figure this **** out. Thanks.

The linkage on the motor, take out the single bolt that goes threw it and pry the slot open just alittle and it should slide off,,,, the lever on the foot peg,, it has a big c-clip on the end of the shaft its on, pop it off and the lever will slide off, may have to work it alittle to get it off thow!!! Very easy to get them off.

plyers and a flat blade. i just used a flat blade and it popped right off.

Did you put the flat blade behind it and push outward? Because I can't get the flat blade I'm using behind the clip to pry it off. I'll get a pair of needle nose pliers and work with that.

no at the opposite end (top of it) where it is not open stick a flat blade and pop it off that way!

Turns out a smaller flathead screwdriver was just what the doctor ordered. Was able to pry it off using that. Will post pics of the new shifter in a minute, gotta let my hands warm up before I go out and ride to test out the shifter.

EDIT: Here's the pictures.

Looks sweet dude, sorry about that yeah with a little flat blade you can get inbetween the clip and the shaft and pop it of ,hard to explain that it slips on,,

Well I tore it all down. Painted the frame, and tore the top end off the motor and did a little cleaning on the cases still more to do. Sparky is sending me my new jug and piston. Still gotta figure out a new cam. Also ordered a new bar pad and grips.
