What should I do with FST, I shipped him the head and cylinder back on April 9 to remove and install two rocker arms and press a new sleeve in and get me new rings. It's now June 6 and he still hasn't even called me with a price yet meaning he hasn't even looked at it yet. Last Tuesday I called him and he told me the parts were comming in and he'll get to it later in the week, blah blah blah, I know he's buzy but fucken A it'll only take him maximum 3 hrs to complete this. I'm ready to call him and tell him to return it and I'll fare for myself.

Here is the deal. No matter what his situation is he can always pick up the phone and let you know how much and when he will have it done. If he won't even do that then I wouldn't want him doing **** on my ATV.

He's a great engine builder and knows the Warrior probably better then anyone else, but if you don't send your **** around christmas time after the racing season, don't expect it back soon. Also his customer service sucks ass. If I had to do this all over again I would deal with CWR and had one of their 460 kits done, at least he cares a little about his regualr customers other then racers.

That's tough. If you know when he gets to it it'll be right and tight then it's a tough decision. You want the person you think will do the best job to do the job. Maybe call him and ask him if he's too busy and HE wants you to have someone else do it(in a nice way). Maybe that will make him get the picture. Unless you've already lit into his ass.

I would call him up one last time and tell him that if hes not gonna be able to start on it within a certain amount of time (however much longer you wanna wait) that you just want it back and take it somewhere else. That is ridiculous tho that hes had it that long and he cant even give you a price on it.

hmmm.... idk man. call him up. ask for a definate start date. if not complain a little to get the point across haha.

this is your motor though.... he is building it and he can mess it up lol. i wouldnt press too hard. if it gets rough ask for it back. im sure another shop can take care of it.

Personally.. I would ask for the stuff back and have all that **** done at a machine shop around you.
Did mickey ever recomend a smaller cam with his 366cc kit??

Thanks guys I appreciate all the opinions, I think I'll call him again one last time and see what the deal is.

not all of us have spare quads just sitting there for parts

I just have to put the other motor back together, and order the rings for the JE 366 piston I got, I got a good set of valve springs and a megacycle 252X1 cam, plus I got the Dyna box too.

Well I just ordered a new set of rings for my old JE 85mm piston and sent the head and cylinder to be bored at a local motorcycle shop, so at least I'll be able to ride this summer.

are you still going to sell that motor when your done?
Yup after this summer is over I'll sell it. It's gonna have a brand new Yamaha clutch with HD springs, new Ricky stator stator, Megacycle 252X cam, Kibble White valve springs, JE 11.1 piston and new rings, and a mint 2001 crank. Hooked to my exhaust (full Yoshimura w head pipe) and Dynatec rev box this motor will put out 30HP. This will hold me over till my **** comes back from FST.
