Couldn't get a video today, but apparently I didn't get one of the valve covers tight and I can guarantee Im getting plenty of oil to the head!! Did get a couple pics in the woods on the trail, mind you Im the first one to ride here this year. The Kendas are definitely aggressive.

That looks great '98! That is some tall stuff to ride in. Does it take off the PC on your lower a-arms?

Couple more rides there and the center will be knocked down. Also have to remember I havent had this one that long to know, but the other warrior after a bunch of riding it takes the paint off. I wish Id taken pics farther down the trail where I can get a little crazier. In the area I took these theres to many close trees to really get hard on her. Farther down Ive got huge ruts dug from today alone.

On a side note I need to ride this alot this year as practice. Theres a harescramble about 20 min. away this fall I wanna try my hand at. So I need to get used to riding continuously.

How much does an oil cooler cost, lines, and all? Is there a big power increase?

Depends on the route you go, doing it the standard way is around $50 or so, if memory serves me right. And thats you picking up the parts yourself. My way if your not finding deals like me, can be upwards of $100 or more. As for a power increase, theres not really a power increase. An oil cooler does just that, it keeps the oil cooler which in turn help the longevity of the motor.

You need to keep us posted on that cooler and weather or not it dose any better then the avg cooler

jasonp has a similar one and has been running it for awhile now. He can give feedback right now.

Cool stuff! I might be picky but those red grips are distracting. Deff do the race. XC is where its at. Hope you get your shocks back by then!

Ya eventually here im gonna get different color spider grips and put these on the other one. Both quads maybe going to it to, a buddy is kinda interested in doing it. As for the shocks hopefully Ill get them sent out and have the $$ to.

FST makes a full kit for $95. Think it would be worth buying if I were to run a HR 397 kit or an FST 446 kit?

Yes I know FST makes a kit, but its just the standard one with fittings and an automotive oil cooler that you can put together yourself for around $50. The cooler Im putting together is AN fittings, braided lines, and a bar style cooler. With a stroker kit a cooler isn't only recommended, its pretty much mandatory if you want to guarantee that you time and money aren't gonna be wasted.

Starting to tinker with mounting the cooler up. After fabbing up a bracket, I think I found how and where I want to mount it up. Once I get some scoops made I think this place will be perfect to help force some more air threw.

Ive already got a longer bolt there and just need to come up with a bracket for the other side. I do have an idea there though.

Thanks weston, believe it or not that "bracket" I made is part of an upright on a metal shelving unit. My buddy had a mangled one so Im recycling as much metal as possible from it. Gonna try playing with the shelf sections tomorrow and see if I can make scoops with them.

Sweet I use that same type of shelfing upright when I mounted me fan today works great and the hoes are pre drilled!! Bonus! Lol looking good keep it up

Got the cooler mounted and some scoops made today. Scoops are made out of the shelf part of the shelving unit Im recycling. Yes I know she needs a bath!!!
