Ok I looked around, and can't find much literature on these?
I'm not sure I understand how it works?
How do you secure it to the swing arm? Where do you bolt your caliper??
It's just the carrier with no brackets..

Ok.. I figured it out, and holly crap those swing arms are pricey!!

Already done did sold er haha, shipped it out today. Wonder whos gettin it hmmmm.....

Honda style is the way to go if you hate adjusting the chain before ever ride, and thats with the warriors 20hp!!

Well I'm looking at making a better adjuster right now. We'll see how this works out?

I don't suppose anyone would be able to tell me the length of a stock, Gen2 upper a arm??

I'm looking hard into this 400ex a arm swap on a Gen1 frame, but there's some weird variations I have to consider..

I cant measure my asr's but im pretty sure there 1 inch shorter than the 1st gen arms

Alright..
Cause this is what I gathered pm'ing duneracer last night.

The stock lower arms on the 1st gen is 14,1/2" inches long. The lower arm on the 400ex ARS +2 arms is 15,3/4" inches long.
Now if the upper arm is an inch shorter, I might have to order a +3 lower arm.. But would I be ok with a +1 upper?
Or would I want one at the stock length???

Here's an update of my project..

I really didn't know where to start a new thread about this, so yah..

I have decided to give my 87' Warrior the look of an 87' YZ490.

That's what I'm basing the project on. I kinda have a theme going.

In my mind this is the Warrior that Yamaha should have built. (Back in 87')
