ASR vs Laeger swingarm

I still don't see why welding a JJ&A round carrier housing to a stock warrior swingarm won't work but the only one I know of who did it said it didn"t work out so well. I would try it anyway but can't weld for ****. I'm looking at an ASR $519 or Laeger $544 swingarm. Anyone familiar with the ASR? It looks like a good one.

I use their a arms on my bikes and I must say if their swing arms are as good as their a arms there's no reason to even doubt asr.
