Man I hate my sprocket combo(12/41) it may be good for some things but not my type of riding. I just found this deal on Ebay for a 16 tooth sprocket. I'm going to try and convince my dad to get it.

You will have nothing for bottom end though. Do you just ride on straight flat ground all of the time?

Dude, that's WAY too high without any performance mods and 22 inch rears. With a 14 tooth you still can't get the motor wound out all the way in 6th! You'll never get out of 4th gear with that thing unless you're going downhill! Just get a 14, it's MUCH more reasonable.

lol^^ no ****... and i will take your 12 tooth front.. lol i need it for my silver lake trip...

I agree that you'll be disapointed with the performance. And never see 120 or even 70 for that matter.

You'll have to ride the clutch more when you get rolling, and it just puts more stress on everything.

You can put the gearing as high as you want to, but your motor won't be able to push you faster than 70 mph no matter how high your gearing is. Get a 15 then, just for god sakes don't get a 16! There's no benefit at all.

But if by chance you do get it up to 120 I'd like to see some video!!! But again, not to burst your bubble or anything but my buddy has a 500cc banshee that makes around 90 hp and doesn't do 120 mph.

my buddy has a 10mil stroker shee that makes about 80 hp and he did about 90 in 4th gear... ssoo i don't think 120 is outta the question.

I meant 120KPH! And I was kinda joking

ah, i see. We don't use KPH here in america! I don't think that a metric scale is even on my car's speedometer!.

Yea but comparing the same numerical values (60 mph v 60 kph). Yours is Much Lower then Ours. Get back on the bottom of the totem pole bud ;)

with no mods or just piped, 14/40 is a good combo, anything more is really hard to use unless you ride open areas all the time. Yet i am currently running 14/40 and on wet roads i can break my tires loose all the way up to 4th if i try. Sometimes i wish i had more speed but its seems pretty managable as it is in all conditions, after my mods i may have to go to a 15/40, trial and error.
