They should have more travel/stroke than the smaller ones.

the thing is im using different a arms that use different lower mount points but have close to the same travel of 13" which is monstrous but i didnt know if there was something special about longer shocks

You good on the TIG? MIG welding it isnt the best idea.

im not chopping and welding then the ASR and FFR use those alum spacers things with heim joints and i have to shim one side and shorten the other but im not welding them that's for sure

You'll need to figure out what right springs to use.

Ok just making sure, i see what you mean now

ya with 400ex a arms the uppers will be a direct fit but i will have to machine spacers because honda uses narrower a arm mounts but the lower i will have to shave.25 off the front side of the rear mount and spacer the outsides on them as well but i can get them in std travel and LT ad the std travel ones on a warrior make it LT and i dont have a set of LT a arms to compare on the warrior but they should give at least 13" on 19" shocks i am just debating which route i want to go because its about 300 bucks for the 19" shocks and 150 for the 16" and a local shop will rebuild them for $50

ya but i dont want to spend the money and as of right now with new front calipers front and rear lines and new front rotors +all the other stuff ive gotten new on this thing im only 7 bucks into this build:tup: lthough the front suspension is going to eat my wallet alive....

I'm rinning some KYB shocks on mine from a kfx700, they are ok. I'm sure the Cam Am ds450 ones would be much better
