hmf or yoshimura

I have a 2007 raptor 350 stock and I was wondering if I should get a hmf or go ahead and spend the $100 or so more and get the yoshimura? The soud isn't as much of an issue to me as the performace is cuz I want the most performance! and does anyone have pics of a yoshimura on there raptor that I could see?

The only thing I hate about the hmf is it takes 3 weeks or more to get it from anywhere that i have looked!

thanks for the advice, anyone with a pick of their yoshimura on their raptor. My bad for starting another exhaust thread but I just want to make the right choice.

As DS stated the quality is hands down Yoshimura, I have them both, HMF and Yosh. They are two different pipes, The HMF canister is heavy gauge aluminum and the pipe is very thin SS, the Yosh can is polished SS and the pipe is heavy gauge SS. HMF will give a touch more low end but be a lot louder, Yosh will give more top end as the muffler is longer and will be much quieter.

For the Raptor 350 you can also opt for the Yosh tri oval exhaust, check out Ratchracings rappy350 he has one.

Ds, have you ever owned a hmf? Its really all an opinion and personal preference when it comes down to it. About all of your quality pipes today make about the same power, really the only differences are sound and looks and imo I dont like the sound of yoshi's at all. Not saying there bad but you cant just say they are better than a hmf period. tjrap if you choose hmf or yoshi you will be very satisfied I guarantee you.

Depends on what you want topend or bottom end. IMO i like the sound of a HMF to a Yoshi. (not saying that because i own one)

Wow thanks for the fast responses guys. I guess I will go with the hmf because everyone else seems to like them and I would rather have more low end anyway. I just hate that I have to wait so long to get one the local shop here said they are on back order and I won't get it for another month or more, but I guess anything worth having is worth waiting for.

Has anyone bought theirs from ebay and how long did it take to get it? Anyone got the polished one instead of the brushed.

I would prefer the Yosh myself. Of the HMF's I've seen in person, they were decent, but my opinion is that the Yosh is built better.

I also like FMF, and would prefer that over the HMF, but it'd be a toss-up between FMF and Yosh for me.

Ok going to buy it from ebay the only problem I see is that you can upgrade to any color you want and I want polished and thats great but their is know where to chose what color you want and I don't wanna be surprised when I get it and its yellow for a gray raptor! so I guess i'm gonna have to just call them before I order

They'll send you an email right after you buy and ask you what color you want. I got mine from ebay for $199

Just got my HMF from ebay on Friday. Took 3 days to get it. I am very happy with the low end it gave me. Bike really picks up now and sounds awesome.

never rode with a warrior/rappy with a HMF but my friend has a warrior with the yoshi..it sounds awesome. It seems to give more on the bottom that my pro circuit but on top i run away..

I just got the brushed one and mine came from the seller quadparts111. They are in Ohio. I made sure to buy from someone close to TN so it would ship quick.
