yeah I just called them and just went ahead with the brushed one so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb and they said I won't get it for aleast 2 weeks because of some build time or something I would think as many people buy them they would have more in stock.

[quote:d95d682y]Im not going to start an argument here, but when it really comes down to it, yoshimura is better hands down.

Quality, sound, and performance.

Ds, have you ever owned a hmf? Its really all an opinion and personal preference when it comes down to it. About all of your quality pipes today make about the same power, really the only differences are sound and looks and imo I dont like the sound of yoshi's at all. Not saying there bad but you cant just say they are better than a hmf period. tjrap if you choose hmf or yoshi you will be very satisfied I guarantee you.[/quote:d95d682y]

I myself have not owned an HMF but ive seen them and ive owned enough high dollar pipes to know that yosh was deff worth the extra 30 or 40 bucks over the others. I owned a dg full system.... i cant really complain about it. to be honest it had a nice sound and after opening the airbox i did notice a nice gain in low end power. I had an e series here for a while..... the pipe was ok... quality was about mid.... sound was way too raspy for me. I found it to be most useful with no discs at all, but it was an all low end pipe. When i first got my yoshi i was just impressed but the way they packed it. No shity packing peanuts or anything. The thing is put in a box and they use spray foam to completely cover the pipe so there really is no way it could be damaged in shipping. Not only that.... after many ride it still looking like new. Ive seen HMF's on a warrior and multiple other pipes. And i just dont like the way they look They are too short. Dont maintain a good looking finish ( without polishing every ride at least) To each his own. Like i said im not looking to start an argument. But once you own a yoshi, the quality is undeniable. I can make a guarentee that if you would place one on your warrior you would rather have it over the HMF. Not that HMF isnt a good pipe, but in my opinion its the branch of exhausts thats mid grade. If i had to choose some high grade pipes id say Big gun, DMC( back in the alien dual port exhaust days.. still availible as the duncan fatboy 4... they are identicle), Yoshimura.

The same thing holds to true here that applies to all quad stuff. You get what you pay for.In this case its more or less based on quality. If you want low end power then the hmf is for you. For top end power ( which in my opinion is the most valuable on the warrior simply based on the fact that its a complete turd in the upper rpms stock) Both are good

HMF's are usually "built to order" and shipped straight from the manufacturer. That is why almost anywhere you buy one it takes a week or so to get it. I really like both the Yosh and the HMF. I ended up getting the HMF and love the way it sounds on the 350. In my opinion the HMF is just too loud on bigger CC machines but sounds awesome on the 350. I have had mine on for over a year and it shines and looks like brand new.

Warning! -thread jacking about to occur-
Hey DSW, is the Duncan Fatboy 4 worth the money? Right now they are the only ones with a full setup for the Outlaw 525 available. But it cost $699. Around $100 - $200 more than the FMF full setup or Muzzy setup, both of which are not going to be availble for another month or more.

Palerider I have no experience what so ever with them but I was watching some show on tv and a guy had a full duncan fat boy on his yfz and its one of the best sounding pipes I have heard.

You said nothing about pro circuit??

I have never owned one.... and havent really even seen any. However i know they would have to be good. Their 2 stroke pipes are amazing. MY dad has had a few on his bikes.... deff a shitload better than anything fmf thats for sure.

And i have no idea on the fatboy 4. I know somone a long time ago had one on a warrior on blue traxx and they loved it. But it was exactly the same as the dmc alien.
